Meet Our Pastor - Rev. Dennis L. Zimmerman
Dear Friends:
Since the day Debbie and I arrived here to serve at the Kantner United Methodist Church, we have been welcomed with extraordinary kindness and care. Many of you have been praying for us, many of you have worked hard to make the parsonage a warm and welcoming place, many of you have volunteered in other ways to make this time of transition successful. We are very grateful for your thoughtfulness and we thank you for it.
We come here expecting that God will bless us all as we work and live together into the future. I can see great energy and enthusiasm for ministry in the KUMC congregation, and look forward to helping you direct that energy. With God's help, we will accomplish the mission God calls us to.
I also expect that we will be governed in all we do by two biblical principles: 1) to love both God and each other and 2) to go and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
If we are faithful to these two things and we are willing to work together, nothing will be able to stand in our way. We will discover the ways in which we can best accomplish our mission, the resources we need to do so will be made available to us, and we will succeed.
I'm looking forward to the great adventure God has in store for us. I hope you are too.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Dennis
